OnlyFans PPV vs. a Custom Request

OnlyFans PPV, or pay-per-view, commonly refers to paying to unlock particular paid content. A custom request asks a creator to make something to an agreed brief. One is a way to purchase access; the other describes how the work is commissioned. They are not interchangeable promises.

Compare the purchase, not just the price

A payment format is not a production brief

A locked post or message may offer access to content already produced. Paying to unlock it does not, by itself, entitle the buyer to a new video, a personal message, revisions, or exclusive rights. Conversely, a custom can be arranged with its own delivery and payment terms. The label “PPV” alone does not tell you whether something was made specifically for you; read the description and clarify what is included.

Choose based on what you want to receive

If you want access to a described piece of content, check that purchase’s terms rather than assuming personalization. If you want a particular format, length, or message created for you, write a custom brief and ask whether the creator accepts that work. A more detailed request may require a different price or may be outside their boundaries. Neither paying for access nor commissioning work automatically grants permission to redistribute it.

Questions to settle before a purchase

Make the distinction explicit so price is not the only thing you compare:

  • Am I unlocking an existing item or asking for new work?
  • What files, duration, or quantity are included, and is any personalization actually agreed?
  • Is there a delivery window for new work, and what happens if the agreed scope changes?
  • What use is allowed, and what review or dispute options apply on the platform where I am buying?
